A sort-of 'Riverdance' took place in Manor House on Tuesday 17 May when the 2nd years had a céilí, helped by a group of TY dancers and musicians. Rachel Kilbane and Louise Chan gave a demonstration of hard-shoe and soft-shoe dances. Then Saoirse White (fiddle and banjo), Emma Ormonde (guitar) and Caoimhe Fitzsimons (DJ) kept the music flowing while the 2nd years learned 'Ballaí Luimnigh' and 'Ionsai na hInse'. €230 was made at the door and this money goes to the 'Team Dee' fund. A great morning was had by all.
