Before the mid-term break, the 5th year Physics students built rockets out of recycled soft drink bottles and launched them using compressed air delivered by a bike pump.  Each rocket travelled an impressive 20 - 30 feet and demonstrated how Newton's Third Law ( - action and reaction are equal and opposite - ) is crucial to a rocket's lift off! See video. Thanks to Ms Callaghan for organising this experiment.
